September 2015 tunes

Been listening to an eclectic assortment of tunes so far this month.

A new song I was recently introduced to was “S.O.B.” by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats:

My former companion heard that one on the radio right after it came out a couple weeks back and thought of me due to its sound, being familiar with my tastes. Sure enough, I love it.

Another good one from that same band is “I Need Never Get Old”:

Switching gears, a blast from the past that came back across my mind this past week is Tupac’s “Hail Mary”:

In fact, I had to go back and listen to the whole album:

Gotta love the ’90s.

Not that my generation could hold a torch to the products of the ’70s, IMHO. For instance, here’s Led Zeppelin’s “Since I’ve Been Loving You”:

Damn. Such an amazing song, like so many of their others. I can really feel that music.

Another I’ve been listening to in my car a good bit this past week by Led Zeppelin is “That’s The Way”:

That’s enough to share on here for one evening.
