    I can totally relate — I used to shrug them off better. Do you know about the B vitamins, aspirin and water trick? That does help when I remember to do it. What you’re drinking does matter, too. I knew a guy who drank a lot of brandy… I can’t even begin to imagine those hangovers!

      Yeah, thankfully I tend to leave alone the hard liquors.

      Haven’t tried the vitamin B + aspirin + water trick yet. Usually I stick with lots of water and a little pepsi (caffeine sometimes helps a little). But I doubt anything could’ve helped me recover last time. Boy howdy. Ugh. 🙁 ha But might have to give your advice a try next go-round.

      That fixed my little red wagon for a spell. Not too bright. Just kinda snuck up on me. heh

        The B’s are all water-soluble, so you can take a lot. The trick is to take a bunch of B-multivitamins and some aspirin with a lot of water before you go to bed. It can be helpful to take some B’s even before drinking.

        Alcohol supposedly flushes those water-soluble B’s out of your body, and part of the hangover is lack of B vitamins. Other parts come from dehydration and break-down products created by your liver processing the alcohol. Some of it comes from other compounds in the alcohol — byproducts of fermentation or additives.
